Bob Ryan is a Member of the Board of Directors of CogniBiome Therapeutics, Inc.. He brings more than three decades of senior executive leadership, global operating experience, and corporate governance to the CogniBiome Board. His perspective spans the boardroom, the C-suite, and the multinational operating environments where strategy meets execution.
Bob held senior human resources and general management roles across several multinationals, including Griffith Laboratories, where he served as VP HR in Canada and the United States, as a General Manager in the UK, and built a new executive team and HR function for the European headquarters in Paris. He went on to leadership roles with Bombardier Recreational Products, Kimball Hill Homes, and Tate & Lyle, working across the food ingredient, consumer products, manufacturing, and recreational products industries in Canada, the United States, and Europe.
For the past 13 years, Bob has served as a trusted advisor and executive coach to C-level leaders, acting as their confidential conversation partner on business strategy, leadership, and personal development. Across more than 6,000 coaching hours, he has worked with executives in healthcare, space and defense, food and beverage, consumer packaged goods, professional sports management, transportation, luxury goods, and professional services, giving him broad, cross-sector judgment directly relevant to a growth-stage life sciences company.
Bob previously served on the board of Madison-Kipp Corporation through its eventual sale, and has held numerous not-for-profit board positions in the arts, economic development, and human resources. He is the immediate Past President of the Union League Club of Chicago.
He holds a degree in Mechanical & Aeronautical Engineering from McGill and Carleton Universities and is an ICF-certified coach, having graduated from the Hudson Institute of Coaching in Santa Barbara, California. A dual citizen of Canada and the United States, Bob lives near Chicago.
