Dr. Solch-Ottaiano is a Co-founder and the Director of Nutritional Neuroscience at CogniBiome Therapeutics, Inc. Her passion is exploring the role of diet on cognitive aging across the lifespan through the gut-brain axis. Concurrent to her leadership at CogniBiome, Dr. Solch-Ottaiano is an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Pharmacology and Neurology as well as the Director of the Clinical Neuroscience Research Center Rodent Behavior Core at Tulane University School of Medicine (New Orleans, LA). Previously, she was a postdoctoral fellow and research instructor in the Tulane Nutritional Neuroscience laboratory of Dr. Maraganore. Dr. Solch-Ottaiano received her Nutritional Science PhD from the University of Florida where she focused on modulation of the gut microbiota through probiotic and fiber supplementation on health outcomes.
